Boucher hasnt done a decent job. He has been in office 20 years and I bet you cant name 5 things that he has done for this area. Same goes for Bud Phillips.

God people, open your eyes, both parties lie, both parties tell you how great they are, they tell you how lousy the other is. When you have people who are so convinced that the Republicans are all right and great, when you have people who are so convinced that the Democrats are all right and great, you have people who need to open their eyes and their brains and let something new crawl in.
I will guarantee you that no matter what party you support, someone from the other party has done something, supported something, voted on something that has helped you. I will also guarantee you that someone from the party you support, some candidate you support has done something, supported something or voted on something that has been against what you want.

Also note that I attributed these accomplishments to the liberal faction not the democratic party. Democrats haven't always been liberal.
you're going to lecture me about history? if you were well read in history, then you'd know that the republican party was the more progressive faction in the 1860's. Democrats were very conservative during this era, hence why I attribute these accomplishments to social progressives instead of the Democratic party. Lincoln, indeed, had some liberal tendencies which encouraged him to emancipate slaves in 1863, but slavery wasnt officially eliminated until the emergance of the 13th Amendment. Who supported this legislation? Liberal congressmen of course.
